Moselle Valley Cruise - Coach Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: UK to N. France
To our hotel in Northern France for dinner and an overnight stay. (D)
DAY 6: Trier to Traben-Trarbach
We begin to cruise back toward Koblenz, with our morning voyage taking us to Traben- Trarbach, which boasts a riverside promenade and charming architecture. (B,L,D)
DAY 2: N. France to Koblenz
We join the MV Diana in Koblenz, at the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle, where you’ll have time to explore the city or just relax on board the ship. (B,L,D)
DAY 7:Traben-Trarbach to Alken
Sit back, relax and take it the scenery as we cruise to the Moselle wine town of Alken. (B,L,D)
DAY 3: Koblenz to Cochem
A morning’s cruising on the Moselle takes us to charming Cochem, the best known town of the Moselle Valley, where we spend the afternoon at leisure. Cochem is a typical medieval wine village, with a wide selection of inns where you can enjoy sampling the local wines. (B,L,D)
DAY 8: Alken to Koblenz
We return to Koblenz, with plenty of time for an an afternoon stroll around the medieval old town. (B,L,D)
DAY 4: Cochem to Bernkastel-Kues
Enjoy the Moselle Valley’s beautiful scenery today as we cruise to Bernkastel-Kues, passing vineyards, woods and medieval wine villages. Enjoy a stroll around picture-postcard Bernkastel-Kues, with its impressive town hall and half-timbered houses. (B,L,D)
DAY 9: Koblenz to N. France
To our overnight hotel for dinner. (B,D)
DAY 5: Bernkastel-Kues to Trier
We cruise to Trier, enjoying an afternoon visit to the oldest city in Germany. One of the main historic sights is the Black Gate or Porta Nigra, built by the Romans. (B,L,D)
DAY 10: N. France to UK
To Calais, Dover and then home. (B)

MV Diana
Offering a good standard of accommodation for just 78 passengers, the recently refurbished MV Diana provides a charming base for exploring the beautiful Moselle Valley.
All 39 outward facing cabins have private facilities, air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, a Continental type electricity socket (220V), and are located on two decks, ‘Main’ and ‘Promenade’.
The ship also features a very comfortable lounge, bar and dance area on the Promenade Deck, as well as a partially covered Sun Deck from where you can enjoy the stunning scenery.

The restaurant, located on the Main Deck, will provide you with buffet breakfast, with hot food available, three-course lunch and dinner, plus morning and afternoon tea/coffee.

Prices are based on sharing a two-berth cabin on the Main Deck.

Please note that the supplements reflect the deck or cabin position and not the size of the cabin.
Due to steep stairs between decks, the ship is not suitable for people with walking difficulties (no stair lift)
