FRIDAY • From local joining points we head to Nottingham
SATURDAY • A full day to explore the extensive Christmas shopping available in historic Nottingham city centre. A traditional German market adorns the market square and adjoining streets with enticing flavours and unusual gifts for all the family.
SUNDAY • Today we head into the Peak District for a real festive treat. We visit stately Chatsworth House (admission included) where the lower floors take on a visual celebration of A Christmas Carol theme, along with inspirational gift ideas in their own market. Enjoy the grandeur of the house and gardens before continuing on to the Peak's town of Bakewell on the banks of the River Wye.
MONDAY • After breakfast we begin our journey home.
