Paris Breaks Itinerary

DAY 1:
Local departure then to the Paris area to your choice of hotel for a three or four-night stay.

DAY 2: Paris
Included visit to Paris. Why not join our optional guided sightseeing tour, which takes in the famous Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral? For a different view of the city, there's an optional River Seine cruise, complete with English commentary. We return to our hotel late afternoon. Tonight, you can join an optional visit into the Latin Quarter where you can immerse yourself in the atmosphere and perhaps enjoy dinner. B

DAY 3: Versailles and Montmartre and Paris by Night
Another day to explore Paris independently or join our optional tour to the splendid Château and Gardens of Versailles, located on the western outskirts of Paris and originally created for Louis XIV. Admire the magnificent gardens and château from this once opulent era (entrance to château is at extra cost). We return to Paris, to the Montmartre area, with its quaint atmosphere, antique stalls, galleries and, of course, the Basilica of the Sacré Coeur. In the evening, our optional 'Paris by Night' tour includes a meal plus a visit to Montparnasse Tower, from where you will get the most beautiful views of the city. B

DAY 4: (5-day tour only) Paris
Included visit to Paris giving you the chance to enjoy even more of this great city. Why not wander around the charming Latin Quarter or the Jardin du Luxembourg. B

DAY 4: 4 (4-day tour) or Day 5 (5-day tour)
Return home via Calais. B

Your Hotel

You will stay for three or four nights at the 2-star standard Quality Hotel Le Cardinal in Rueil Malmaison or the Quality Hotel La Defense on the western outskirts of Paris. The hotel has a breakfast room, bar and lift. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and air-conditioning.
