Holiday Itinerary

DAY 1: UK to Nemours area
Dover, Calais, then to our overnight stay in the Nemours area.

DAY 2: Nemours area to Marignane
A drive south through France to Marignane just outside Marseille, our base for the next seven nights. (B,D)

DAYS 3 to 8: Marignane
A chance to relax, settle into your new surroundings and explore the this wonderful area of Provence. The Hotel Pullman Marseille offers a wonderful base to discover the area and extensive public areas where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the sunshine. (B,D)

DAY 9: Marignane to Champagne area
We drive back north through France to the Champagne area in the north east for our overnight stay. (B,D)

DAY 10: Champagne area to UK
We drive north to Calais, for our crossing to Dover, then home. (B)

Full Day: Aries & the Camargue
Arles was once a metropolis of Roman Gaul, epitomised in its impressive arena where bullfights are still held. The Camargue, western Europe’s largest river delta, is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Full Day: Avignon, Pont du Gard & Uzes
Today we visit the historic fortified city of Avignon, and the magnificent 14th century Palace of the Popes. We then drive to the magnificent Pont du Gard, a majestic aqueduct built by the Romans.

Half Day: Scenic Coastal Drive
A scenic drive along the glorious coastline enjoying some of the prettiest villages in the region, including some time to relax in the colourful town of Cassis.

Pullman Marseille - Provence

The Pullman Marseille Provence hotel is located at a point where the Alpilles and Lubéron mountains meet the Carmargue delta in the heart of the Provence region. The hotel is set amidst lavish gardens and in the summer time the outdoor pool is an ideal location to relax. A well-being centre is due to open in 2011.
