Remagen We make
our way through Belgium into Germany for a visit of the
picture-book town of Monschau, which enjoys a dramatic setting
deep in the Rur Valley. Well-preserved Monschau is one
of Germany’s finest small towns and offers superb
views of the surrounding countryside. We then continue to
our resort hotel in Remagen. (B,D)
DAY8: N. France to UK Across to
Dover and then home. (B)
DAYS 3 to 6: Remagen At leisure
with two superb included excursions. Don't miss the optional

Day: Romantic Rhine A highlight
of our holiday today as we enjoy a scenic drive into the
Rhine Gorge to St Goarshausen, at the foot of the imposing
Katz Castle and just a little way downstream of the legendary
Loreley Rock. Why not join our optional cruise through the
Rhine Valley to the riverside village of Assmannshausen,
the perfect way to view this land of legends, cosy riverside
wine villages and romantic hilltop castles. From Assmannshausen
we continue to the lively resort of Rüdesheim, where
you can visit the 16th century Drosselgasse, packed with
wine taverns and traditional music. We return to Remagen
via the beautiful Wisper Valley.

this lively, colourful wine centre, with its attractive
half-timbered houses, town gates and remains of the original
town walls. Our local guide is on hand to offer an optional
walking tour of the town.
