DAY 1:
Home to Dublin
Make your own way to your chosen airport for
the flight to Dublin. A transfer has been arranged
from the airport to our overnight hotel, the
Clarion Dublin Airport. |
DAY 5:
A Day at leisure in Glengarriff
Enjoy a free day exploring in Glengarriff
today or just perhaps sit on the hotel veranda relaxing and
admiring the views across the Bay. Alternatively, why not
join us on an optional excursion (extra charge; full details
available from your driver) |
DAY 2: Dublin to Cashel to Blarney to
Glengarriff
Today we
travel westwards, through the historic town of Blarney, famous
for the Blarney Stone. By early evening we arrive in the pretty
coastal town of Glengarriff with panoramic views of Bantry
Bay, for our four nights stay at the Eccles Hotel, one of
the oldest established hotels in Ireland. The hotel is 250
years old hotel and sees the blend of its rich history combined
with modern amenities to ensure your stay is one of comfort
and luxury. |
DAY 6: Glengarriff to Cahel to Howth
After breakfast we commence
our journey back across Ireland. We pause in Cashel, then
sit back and enjoy the ever-changing countryside of counties
Tipperary and Kildare as we head to Howth for our two night
stay at the Deer Park Hotel. This comfortable hotel is the
perfect place to unwind, surrounded on all sides by parkland
golf courses and offering breathtaking views across Dublin
Bay. |
DAY 3: Full Day Gougane Barra National
Park and Bantry
We enjoy
a leisurely trip into the Shehy Mountains, following the Pass
of Keimaneigh to visit the beautiful Gougane Barra National
Park. Created by a glacier, the valley is stunning and it
is here that St Finbar, patron saint of Cork, had his hermitage
before he went on to found Cork City. On then to visit Bantry,
on the outstanding Bantry Bay, where we enjoy some free time.
We return to Glengarriff, with the opportunity to take an
optional boat trip through calm waters to tiny Garnish Island,
known as an island garden of rare beauty. |
DAY 7: A Day at leisure in Dublin
Enjoy a free day in Dublin today, for a chance to
discover all that this vibrant city has to offer. See
Trinity College, marvel at the beautiful Georgian
buildings take a stroll around buzzing Temple
Bar, or do some last minute shopping in the
fabulous stores on Grafton Street Or you may
prefer to join us on an optional guided city tour
(extra charge; full details available from
your driver). |
DAY 4: Full Day to the Ring of Kerry
After an
early breakfast we travel north through stunning scenery before
beginning our breathtaking journey around the Ring of Kerry.
Without doubt one of Ireland's best-known tours, its spectacular
beauty is beyond question. We follow the coast road, stretching
out into the Atlantic Ocean and the Iveragh Peninsula, enjoying
a 100 mile circular tour of stunning seascapes and soaring
mountains, with breathtaking views around every corner. |
DAY 8: Dublin to Home
Today we will transfer
to Dublin Airport for your return flight home, with fond memories
of your relaxing holiday in the beautiful Emerald Isle. |
