Nice and Èze (included):
In this area famous for its perfumes, we tour the Fragonard Perfume Factory in Èze, and also enjoy the stunning views from this medieval village perched high above the Med. Next we visit the coastal city of Nice with its famous Promenade des Anglais which fronts the city sweeping along the Mediterranean. Behind it lies the picturesque old town with its narrow streets and alleys where you’ll find shopping bargains and small cafés. B,L,D |
St. Paul de Vence and Cannes
(included): A few miles inland lies the charming hillside village of St. Paul de Vence, a beautiful, fortified medieval village with winding streets, filled with boutiques, cafés and art galleries. We end the day in Cannes, home of the famous film festival. Take a stroll along the tree-lined Boulevard de la Croisette with hotels, designer boutiques and gardens on one side and glorious beaches on the other. B,L,D |
Monaco and Monte Carlo (optional): Rub shoulders with the rich and famous in the world’s smallest sovereign state of Monaco, before spending some time in glitzy Monte Carlo. B,L,D |
Santa Margherita and Portofino
(9-day tour only) or Alassio (8-day tour)
(optional): We visit Santa Margherita, then weather permitting take a boat to Portofino, the picturesque village whose pretty harbour with a galaxy of designer shops draws in the rich and famous to relax. Take time to soak up the atmosphere in this heavenly spot. If the visiting Portofino then instead we visit the beautiful resort of Alassio with its splendid sandy beaches out over 3 kms. Here you can take a leisurely stroll along the promenade or relax in a sea front café. B,L,D |

Marina. The hotel is located close to the
town, within walking distance of the sea
and is run by its British owners.
The hotel has a lift, bar, air-conditioned restaurant, swimming pool and offers bicycle hire and free internet access. All bedrooms have satellite T.V., telephone, safe, hairdryer, balcony and tea/coffee-making facilities. Overnight stays are in northern France in city-style hotels. |
