Explore the wonderful stalls lined with traditional Christmas gifts and fayre. Come along and enjoy a truly festive atmosphere. Imagine the setting with the Castle walls illuminated, trees filled with twinkling fairy lights, a giant Christmas tree decorated with thousands of baubles, and the smell of roasted chestnuts and glühwein, which fills the air amongst an array of wonderful German 'style' Christmas stalls.

Itinerary

DAY 1:
Local departure by coach, then onwards to the south-east of England for a two-night stay.

DAY 2: Rochester (included)
Enjoy a full day in the picture-postcard town of Rochester. Explore the wonderful Dickens Christmas Market, which takes place at Rochester Castle. The Castle walls are illuminated in traditional Christmas colours, with German-style Christmas markets stalls and huts, selling a wide range of festive gifts and fayre. Street entertainers and Dickensian costumed characters all combine to create a magical Christmas atmosphere, whilst carol singers entertain you (subject to weather conditions). B

DAY 3:
Enjoy a morning at Lakeside Shopping Centre, before returning home. B

Note: On 30th November departure, The Dickens Christmas Market coincides with the ever-popular Dickensian Christmas Festival, that has taken place in Rochester for the last 30 years and now attracts more than 80,000 people.
