Holiday Itinerary

DAY 1: Home to Aviemore
Our adventure begins as we journey north through the Borders into Scotland, travelling over the hauntingly beautiful Rannoch Moor and through Glen Coe before we reach Fort William. Here we’ll stay for two nights at the Ben Nevis Hotel.

DAY 6: We’re off to the Isle of Barra
Enchanting Barra is where our journey takes us today - tranquil, scenic and unspoilt, it’s a beautiful place for us to visit on the southern tip of this magical island chain.
DAY 2: Aviemore is all yours to explore
Check out the hotel’s fantastic facilities or explore Aviemore – the choice is yours.

DAY 7: From the Isle of Benbecula to Oban, visiting Skye along the way
Setting sail, we travel from Lochmaddy on Uist to Uig on the Isle of Skye, travelling across the island and on to bustling Oban, a lively holiday resort. The Regents Hotel is where we’ll spend the next three nights, set on the esplanade.
DAY 3: From Aviemore to Stornoway
Up the western coast we go to sail across to the Isle of Lewis, cruising along Loch Broom, leisurely admiring the scenery of the Summer Isles as we sail by. Then crossing the Minch to Lewis, we head to Stornoway to check into the Caladh Inn, which will be our base for two nights.
DAY 8: Free time in Oban – the Gateway to the Isles
Whatever you want to do today is your decision – spend time exploring the popular seaside town or relax in the hotel. The choice is yours!
DAY 4: Exploring the Isle of Lewis
Sandy beaches, low-lying hills and a rugged coastline, the Isle of Lewis is a treasure trove of discovery. The fresh water lochs and coastal cliffs that fall away into the sea make this such an enchanting place for us to visit today. The Callanish Standing Stones are a sight to behold and the sea-facing broch (stone towers) at Dun Carloway are legendary landmarks of the Isle not to be missed. We then round the day off by calling in Arnol and the pretty fishing village of Port of Ness. What a great day out!
DAY 9: Off to Mull and Iona we go
Let the sightseeing continue on the Isles of Mull and Iona! Islands of intriguing explorations, magic and beauty - we’re in for a great day out. The lovely Isle of Mull and enchanting Iona, Scotland’s ‘cradle of Christianity’, will form memories you’ll cherish forever.
DAY 5: From Stornoway to the Isle of Benbecula
The adventure continues as we travel to Harris, passing rugged scenery along the way so we can set sail to Berneray on North Uist. Famous for its fords, we head off to the Isle of Benbecula, joined to North and South Uist by bridges and causeways. Then, journeying south, we check into the Dark Isle Hotel in Liniclate for two nights.
DAY 10: From Oban to home
Sadly, our holiday is drawing to a close as you are transferred to Glasgow airport for your flight home. We are sure you will leave us with wonderful memories of this magical part of Scotland.
