Full Day: Enjoy a journey aboard the lovingly preserved East Lancashire Railway. Step back in time and relax as we criss-cross the River Irwell passing over viaducts and through tunnels whilst taking in the spectacular scenery of the West Pennine Moors. On then to discover Lancashire's 'Witch Country' centred around Pendle Hill – which in 2012 will mark the 400th anniversary of the infamous Pendle Witch Trials. We continue on to visit the market town of Skipton.

Full Day: Taking a wonderful boat trip along the Lancaster Canal which includes crossing the spectacular Lune Aqueduct – a listed structure, which is regarded as one of the 'wonders of the waterways' and offers magnificent views of Lancaster and the surrounding countryside. We continue on to the Ashton Memorial at Williamson Park before heading into the historic city itself with free time to explore.

Full Day ( 8 Day Holiday Only): Excursion to the Ribble Steam Railway in Preston. Take a train journey along the dock and riverside line and discover the fascinating industrial railway history of the North West in the museum. On our way back to the coast we call in at the fabulous Barton Grange Centre.
