Full Day We journey through the stunning West Pennines aboard a vintage steam locomotive on the East Lancashire Railway. On then to discover Lancashire’s ‘Witch Country’ centred around infamous Pendle Hill and Skipton.
Full Day We take in some of the most dramatic scenery to be found anywhere in the British Isles, on the famous Settle to Carlisle Line. The 72 mile route takes us over the Ribblehead Viaduct and through the longest tunnel on the line at Blea Moor.

*Evening Drive We travel along Blackpool’s six mile stretch of promenade to admire the world-famous illumintations. Some 500,000 lamps, lights and lasers combine to create a spectacular show! (*Sept-Oct only)

Excursions 8 Day Holidays

Full Day Excursion travelling by train from Carnforth Station, location for the film ‘Brief Encounter’, to Barrow-in-Furness. On then to the charming Edwardian resort of Grange-over-Sands, set between the Lake District Fells and Morecambe Bay.
