DAY 1:
UK to Ostend We travel to Dover for the ferry crossing to
Calais and then continue northwards along the
coast to Ostend for our four nights’ stay. (D)
DAY 5:
Ostend to UK After
breakfast we travel back to Calais for the sailing to Dover
and then home. (B)
DAY 2 to 4: Ostend At leisure in the popular seaside resort of
Ostend with the chance to relax and explore.
You will find a casino, enticing shops,
promenade, beach, harbour and beautifully
landscaped parks and gardens. Our two
included excursions allow you to enjoy a scenic
drive along the beautiful Flemish Coast, with
sandy beaches running for almost 42 miles,
stopping at Veurne and visit the medieval city of
Bruges. Or join our optional excursion to Sluis in
neighbouring Holland. (B,D)

Day Bruges A visit Bruges, considered to be one of the
most perfectly preserved medieval cities in
Europe. With tree-lined canals crossed by
humpback bridges, cobbled streets and alleys
lined with gabled houses it is a delightful town
to explore. The main sights include the Grote
Markt, lined with guild houses, bars and
restaurants.

Day Scenic Coastal Drive Enjoy a scenic drive along the Flemish Coast,
dotted with numerous villages each with its own
individual character, seaside resorts, vast
expanses of sandy beaches, promenades, sand
dunes and unspoilt nature reserves. We also
stop in the charming old town of Veurne, where
the Grote Markt, lined with shops and cafés, is
one of the best-preserved town squares in
Belgium.
