Bruges, by contrast, is a city of fine medieval architecture and intricate canals, while Brussels is the hub of Europe and the EC's administrative 'capital'. Your Excursions

FULL DAY
We take the short journey to the beautiful city of Bruges, often referred to as the 'Venice of the North'. Wander alongside pretty canals and over quaint hump-backed bridges, leading to charming medieval alleys and beautiful squares. Take a canal boat trip, sample some of the famous local chocolates, browse for wonderful Belgian lace, or relax in one of the numerous pavement cafes. In the afternoon we cross into Holland and visit the pretty border town of Sluis, well-known for its vast array of local souvenirs.

FULL DAY
Today we make our way to Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the headquarters of the EC. The city is a diverse mix of grand architecture and cosmopolitan ambience, and no visit would be the same without a stroll around the Grand Place, one of the finest square's in Europe.

Royal Astor Hotel

This hotel is ideally located in the centre of Ostend, close to the casino, wonderful level promenade and shops. This privately owned property has recently been refurbished, facilities include a pleasant bar, restaurant and indoor swimming pool. Bedrooms are simply furnished with the expected facilities of private bathroom, telephone and television.

You have the opportunity to choose the coach seat of your choice which is yours from the moment you join your tour coach. Seat numbers are not allocated on regional transfer services and Jersey by Sea & Air holidays. In most cases on coaches equipped with a rear mounted WC, seats 23 and 24 move to the driver's side of the vehicle, whilst seats 45 and 46 move one seat forward of the rear seat.
Please note that SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ON COACHES. Passengers who do smoke will have ample opportunity to do so at the comfort stops en route.
