City Break - 4 Day Holiday Itinerary
DAY 1: Fly to Berlin where you are met and transferred*
to your hotel for a three-night stay.
DAYS 2 & 3: Discover the sights and history of
Germany’s cosmopolitan capital city. Berlin’s most
renowned landmark is the Brandenburg Gate, which was
designed in a similar fashion to the entrance to the
Acropolis in Athens. For a slightly more relaxing and
sedate experience, why not explore the ‘Tiergarten’, a
large park with ornamental gardens in the centre of
Berlin. Berlin also has a large variety of shops and
museums, and has something to offer everyone.
Kadewe is renowned for being the world’s second largest
department store, with an excellent food hall, or you may
choose to see more of the city on our city sightseeing
tour (optional). 2xB

Transfer to the airport for your return

Your Hotel
You’ll stay for three nights at the 3-star
Winters Hotel Berlin Mitte. This modern
hotel only opened its doors in September
2006, and offers an ideal base for a break
in this vibrant city. The hotel has a bar,
restaurant and lift, and all bedrooms have
T.V., telephone and hairdryer.
*Airport Transfers
For passengers travelling
to Berlin from Stansted with Air Berlin, airport transfers
are included to and from your hotel in Berlin.
For passengers travelling from other U.K. airports, and with
other airlines, transfers are not included, but Berlin is
blessed with efficient and regular transport links to its
airports. Transport is available by S Bahn and/or U Bahn and
local bus. The cost is approx €2.50 per person per journey.
Alternatively, a taxi from Tegel Airport costs approx. €15
, or from Schönefeld approx. €25.
