Andorra, the Pyrenees & Barcelona for Single Travellers - Itinerary

DAY 1:
Door-to-Door departure, then to the Channel port for the crossing to France. Settle back as we begin our journey overnight through France.

DAY 2:
Arrive in Andorra for a four-night stay. D

DAY 3: Andorra La Vella
Included visit to Andorra La Vella, the capital, where you will find bargains on all kinds of goods. Sightseeing opportunities in this old town include the Casa de la Val (house of the valley), a 16th century building which has been used as Andorra's Parliament since 1702. Enjoy the day exploring the delights of this mountain town. B,D

DAY 4: Barcelona
Included visit to Barcelona. The city has a delightfully relaxed atmosphere – particularly along Las Ramblas, and some fabulous buildings designed by Gaudi. B,D

DAY 5: Three Countries Tour
Optional excursion into three countries: Andorra, Spain and France. In the morning we cross the border into Spain to La Seu d'Urgell, one of the most historically important towns in the Catalan Pyrenees, named after the imposing cathedral (La Seu), a lovely Romanesque building dating from 11th and 12th centuries. We then visit the riverside town of Puigcerda, right on the border with France. Later in the afternoon we call at the French Pyrenees ski resort of Font Romeu. We return to Andorra through Port d'Envalira. B,D

DAY 6: Free time before departure
Leisurely morning before our return overnight journey towards Calais. B

DAY 7:
Arrive in Calais, then onwards home, via our Door-to- Door service.

Your Hotel

For the duration of your holiday you'll have sole use of your own room. You'll stay for four nights at the 3-star Hotel Segle , or the Hotel Vall Ski, situated close to El Tarter and Soldeu in Andorra. The hotel is surrounded by the spectacular mountain landscape and has a restaurant and bar. All bedrooms have T.V., telephone, hairdryer and safety deposit box.
