DAY 1:
Local departure by coach then onwards to northern France for an overnight stay.

DAY 2:
To the Lake Como or Milan area for an overnight stay. B,D

DAY 3: Continue south through Italy to the Sorrento Peninsula area for a six-night stay. B,D

DAY 4: Free time
A full-day at leisure. B,D

DAY 5: Pompeii & Vesuvius
Optional excursion to the ruins of Pompeii. Later we travel up Vesuvius to 3,000 feet, where you can continue on foot to the crater (there is a local charge of approx. €8 to visit the crater). B,D

DAY 6: Isle of Capri
Optional excursion to one of the most famous islands in the Mediterranean, Capri. Cruise from Sorrento and visit chic Capri Town with its quaint alleyways. B,D

DAY 7: Amalfi Coast
Optional excursion along 'the most spectacular road in Europe' with fabulous scenery. See the lovely hillside town of Ravello, perched 350 metres above the sea. B,D

DAY 8: Sorrento
Included day visit to Sorrento. B,,D

DAY 9: Rome
We leave Sorrento and head to Rome for your included visit. Join our optional guided sightseeing tour and take in the wonderful architecture of the Colosseum. Continue to our overnight hotel in Chianciano Terme. B,D

DAY 10: Travel north to the Milan/Lake Como area for an overnight stay. B,D

DAY 11:
To our hotel in northern France for an overnight stay. B

Your Hotels

You'll stay for six nights at the familyrun 3-star Hotel Mary in Vico Equense, a short drive from Sorrento. The hotel's owner, Enzo, will be happy to show you around his small town. A local train allows easy access to/from Sorrento. There is a lift, an outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing terrace, restaurant, bar, small lounge and fantastic views over the sea. All bedrooms have a ceiling fan, telephone, T.V. and balcony. En route stays in the Lake Como/Milan area and Chianciano Terme will be in 3-star-standard hotels.
Overnight stays in northern France will be in city-style hotels.

Travel Door-to-Door

On holidays of 12 days duration or more and Single Traveller coach holidays, you don't even have to think about getting to your local joining point. If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining points, Leger will pick you up from your home and take you to meet your feeder coach, then return you back home at the end of your holiday. On European touring holidays of 12 days or more, the cost of this is just £55 per car*, for Single Traveller holidays, it's free of charge. If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge – please enquire at the time of booking.
