Your Hotels
You’ll stay for six nights
at the 3-star Hotel Florida Park, close to the town centre,
shops and beaches of Santa Susanna, on the Costa del Maresme.
The hotel is ideally located for our excursion programme
or personal exploration, with a regular train service along
the coast to many of the resorts. There are lifts, a large
bar area, lounge, restaurant, sun terrace and indoor leisure
complex, including swimming pool (daily charge). All bedrooms
have T.V., telephone, air-conditioning and safe.
Overnight stops in Paris will be in city-style hotels.

Barcelona
(included)
We travel to the fascinating city of Barcelona. The city
has a delightfully relaxed atmosphere, particularly along
the bustling Las Ramblas. Join our guided tour (optional)
to get the most from your day.
Montserrat
(optional)
Join us on our
excursion to Montserrat, known as the
‘serrated mountain’. This ninth-century
Benedictine monastery is surrounded by
spectacular scenery, so a camera is a must.
Costa
Brava Coastal Tour (optional)
We travel north to Tossa de Mar. Within the medieval walls
are fishermen’s cottages, a 14th-century church and plenty
of bars. We continue to Lloret de Mar, the busiest and liveliest
resort on the Costa Brava. Our final destination is Blanes,
renowned for its lace.
Catalonia
Country Tour (optional)
We head to the cool of the wooded hills of Catalonia, accompanied
by our local guide. During your day a delicious typical Catalan
lunch will be served before your return to the coast.
Girona
and Besalu (optional)
Our first stop is the charming town of Girona. Behind the
colourful houses lining the River Onyar lies the Old Town,
with its imposing Gothic cathedral and maze of narrow streets.
We then make our way to the medieval town of Besalu.
Eurostar option
You can travel to Paris
by Eurostar from London, Ebbsfleet or Ashford at a supplement
of £55 return. Please note that taxi transfers between Gare
du Nord Eurostar station and your hotel in Paris are extra
and cost around €30 each way. For 2008, Eurostar will be
departing from St. Pancras, their new terminal in London.
