DAY 1:
UK to Prague Fly
from the UK to Prague and transfer to Hotel Barcelo Prague
(4*), our base for the next two nights. (D)
DAY 6: Krakoaw Krakow’s main Market
Square is the largest medieval centre in Europe, with its
Cloth Hall, topped with gargoyles, St Mary’s Church
and the Town Hall Tower. After all your shopping, you can
sit and relax in one of the many cafés and restaurants
which still have their original interior decoration. Climb
Wawel Hill to visit the magnificent castle or browse around
the shops
beneath the Cloth Hall, situated on one of the largest squares
in Europe where you will also find the impressive Mariacki
Church (St Mary’s). Our included morning sightseeing
tour will introduce you to the main sights. (B,D)
DAY 2: Prague At leisure in Prague, with
the imposing St Vitus Cathedral looking down from the hill
of Hradcany over the Charles Bridge. You’ll be seeing
some of the main sights on our included guided city tour this
morning and then explore at your own pace. Prague’s
Old Town is vibrant with the quaint shops selling glassware,
antique books and lace. The music from nearby street concert
halls added with the aroma from its restaurants help you to
breathe in the atmosphere of tradition. (B,D)
DAY 7: Krakow to Wroclaw We journey northwards through
Poland to Wroclaw, Park Plaza (4*), where we stay for the
night. (B,D)
DAY 3: Prague to Budapest Through
the new Slovak Republic and Moravia to Budapest, where we
spend the next two nights at the Hotel Mercure Buda (4*).

DAY 8: Wroclaw to Berlin Westwards through Poland and across the
German border to Germany’s capital, Berlin at
the Queens Hotel (3*) in the city centre, where
we spend the next two nights. (B,D)
DAY 4: Budapest Budapest
is divided by the Danube River, with Buda on one side and
Pest on the other. A walk through Buda’s charming streets
will reveal lovely Baroque houses and medieval entryways.
Whilst in Pest you will find modern designer clothing shops
and jewellers. There will be an included morning sightseeing
tour this morning to see some of the major attractions. Visit
the Castle District of Buda with its quaint cobbled streets
and hidden gardens. Here the impressive Fisherman’s
Bastion overlooks the Parliament and the famous Chain Bridge
leads to Pest, the city’s commercial heart. (B,D)
DAY 9: Berlin The great German capital,
Berlin, set on the banks of the River Spree is home to many
sights including Berlin Cathedral and the
Brandenburg Gate, built in 1788 as a victory arch for triumphant
Prussian armies. The bright lights and glitzy shops of the
famous Kurfürstendamm offer a convivial atmosphere, whilst
older Berlin lies beyond the Brandenburg Gate. See the main
sights on our included city tour. In the afternoon you are
free to explore at leisure. (B,D)
DAY 5: Budapest to Krakow Northwards
through the Tatras Mountains, into Poland and on to Krakow,
Hotel Wyspianski (3*), which will be our base for the next
two nights. (B,D)
DAY 10: Berlin to UK Transfer to the airport
for your return flight to the UK. (B)
