DAY 1:
UK to N. France To Dover
for the crossing to Calais, and then onwards to our overnight
hotel in northern France.
DAY 9:
Riva del Garda to N. France Northwards
again, back in to France and on to our hotel for dinner and
an overnight stay. (B,D)
DAY 2: N. France to Lake Garda We continue our journey southwards in to Italy,
to beautiful Lake Garda for our seven night stay
at the Hotel Drago (3*). (B,D)
DAY 10: N. France to UK To Calais for the crossing
to Dover, then home. (B)
DAYS 3 to 8: Assenza di Brenzone At leisure on stunning Lake Garda. Relax and
enjoy the stunning scenery, take a stroll along the
shores of the lake, and enjoy our included
excursion programme including the
unforgettable Verona Opera. (B,D)
Evening:
Verona Opera The highlight of this holiday, a performance in
the magnificent Roman amphitheater of Verona.
Our seating at the Opera is on unnumbered
places on the steps of the Arena. For
departures 8th and 15th July our chosen opera
will be Tosca; 22nd, 29th July and 5th, 19th
August Rigoletto; 12th August Gala Romeo et
Juliette; and 26th August Carmen.
Full Day: Venice We head
to the magical city of Venice, where every corner you turn
you are sure to discover a new treasure, from the ancient
crumbling palaces, to the mystical canals and waterways. Half
Day: Sirmione & Peschiera Discover
some of Lake Gardas beautiful towns as we head to the southern
end of the lake, to Sirmione which sits on its own peninsular,
and attractive Peschiera.
